The city of Regensburg is situated beautifully on the banks of the Danube River. Founded by the Romans over 2,000 years ago, it is the best-preserved medieval town in Germany. Regensburg’s entire old town is on the UNESCO World Heritage list. The city’s Stone Bridge is an exceptional engineering achievement from the 12th century.
Guided Historic Walking Tour: Get acquainted with the Old Town, including its patrician-towered houses, the cathedral, the Old Town Hall, the Stone Bridge and the Porta Praetoria.
Lunch at “Historic Sausage Kitchen”: Taste traditional and hand-made sausages from the oldest sausage kitchen in the world, right on the banks of the Danube River.
Leisure Time: Enjoy sightseeing highlights like St. Peter's Cathedral, the Thurn and Taxis Palace, the Document Altes Rathaus, and the Perpetual Imperial Assembly Museum with Torture Chamber.

Transfer from Regensburg to Nuremberg (1 h 30 m*)
WELCOME TO NUREMBERG
In 1835, the first German railway opened between Nuremberg and Fürth. Nuremberg is famous for the Imperial Castle, the Albrecht Dürer House, the German National Museum, the Documentation Center and, of course, the world-famous Christkindlesmarkt Christmas market.

Private city tour: Explore Nuremberg’s Old Town and the Imperial Castle: The Imperial Castle is one of the most important palaces dating from the Middle Ages. From 1050 to 1571, all the emperors of the Holy Roman Empire stayed here at various times during their reigns.

Since its founding in 1984 at the historic site of the former Red Brewery in Bergstraße in the old town of Nuremberg, the Altstadthof Brewery has dedicated itself to brewing genuine Nuremberg beer specialties.

Visit Johannisburg Castle: The massive four-winged complex, built from 1605 to 1614, is one of the most important examples of palace architecture from the German Renaissance era.
The Pompeiianum: Inspired by the excavations in Pompeii, King Ludwig I of Bavaria commissioned the building of an idealized Roman villa, completed from 1840 to 1848.

Explore Schönbusch Park: Tour an observation tower, Red Bridge, Temple of Friendship and Philosopher's House, all arranged in charming settings with artificial lakes and “hills.”
