Unparalleled Flexibility, Comfort in the Air

With its long-range capabilities and ability to land in small airports, the Boeing 757, operated by Icelandair, is used for most National Geographic Private Jet Expeditions and offers the utmost in flexibility.   Flying direct and avoiding layovers maximizes clients’ time in each destination while delivering a superior travel experience.

The jet’s sleek interior has been customized to accommodate 75 guests in a spacious two-by-two seating configuration. Each reclining, VIP-style, European leather seat features a center console, leg rest, foldout footrest, and four-way headrest for supreme in-flight comfort, while spacious center consoles, sliding cocktail tables, and in-seat power outlets add convenience. Travelers also enjoy unimpeded access to experts and staff, who provide informative briefings and lectures throughout the expedition.

A seasoned, specially trained flight crew includes three pilots, an expedition chef, a catering officer, multiple flight attendants, an engineer, and a dedicated luggage handler. A dedicated physician accompanies groups on all flights as well as on land.
