AmaWaterways is an award-winning river cruise line with 29 custom-designed ships sailing through Europe, Asia, Africa, and South America. The river cruise line is passionate about partnership and consistently enhances their sales and marketing tools, including weekly executive-hosted webinars and educational courses to help travel advisors grow their river cruise business. They recently released a Travel Advisor Sales Guide, as well as new toolkits on current promotional offers, upsell opportunities and strategies, and how to encourage ocean cruisers to try river cruising. In addition, they announced their fourth course in AmaAcademy, AmaWaterways’ travel advisor training program. 

In 2023, AmaWaterways was voted ASTA’s Partner Company of the Year and River Cruise Partner of the Year. In addition, Co-Founder and Executive Vice President, Kristin Karst, was awarded ASTA’s Supplier Representative of the Year and the Supplier Medal of Excellence.  

Leading the way in innovation, AmaWaterways is proud to be the first river cruise line to explore Colombia along the Magdalena River in 2024 and of their new Soulful Experiences shining a light on Black history and culture. They are also proud of their revolutionary flagship AmaMagna, which recently received solar panels to reduce fuel consumption and a pickleball court enhancing their Wellness Program.
